Cody's Restaurant Bar & Patio

"One of our meals was pretty salty, we told the waitress about it and all she said was "thank you for the feedback, we've had others complained about it but feedback is always good" also one of our drinks the bartender obviously used the wrong liquor and instead of the waitress just apologizing and just making a different drink, she got defensive about it. This was really a turn off. I wanted to try other drinks but after that, I was very disappointed so we left. The feedback I can give them is, if a customer complaints about their meal just common sense take it off their bill, if a customer complained about a drink do not try to prove a point and just take care of your customer. We went to Cody's in New Braunfels and we had great service but I just don't feel the same about the Cody's in San Marcos."

"My friend and I started a new holiday tradition this year! We went to Cody's for dinner last night. We had a 5:30 reservation and were quickly seated. It was fairly empty when we got there, but got busier as the night went on. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine, $10 off during happy hour, burrata and milk bread as an appetizer. So good!!! For our meal, we had the pork chop and flat iron steak and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were delicious!!! For dessert we had the carrot cheesecake. Everything was so good! We would definitely go back!"

"We just happened upon this fabulous place in San Marcos. We were looking for a quick place to eat before golf. The atmosphere is great, the food is fantastic and the drinks were spectacular! We liked it so much, we went back after golf and tried 4 different appetizers and several different drinks on the menu! It was so much fun!! Great place for couples."

"I honestly wish I could give this a higher rating. The service. The atmosphere. THE FOOD. You will have a literal food orgasm with the Japanese milk bread and butter. Then the potato soup - I thought I was gonna pull a Sally from When Harry met Sally. Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back anytime we are in San Marcos (or just any day of the week I feel like driving from Round Rock to San Marcos for a 'sure thing')."

"We happened upon this place after running errands and oh my Goodness is it delicious! We had my 7 month old daughter with us and the wait staff went CRAZY for her! The atmosphere is chic and cozy, the libations are well crafted and flavorful. We recommend trying The Kissing Tree and Sean Connery. The Champagne Green Salad with chicken was so yummy! My partner got the B.L.A.T and added a fried egg and that put the sandwich over the top! Dessert, which ended up stealing the show, was a carrot Cheesecake topped with caramel and bacon and it was So scrumptious and not overly sweet! It combined our two favorite cakes into one MEGA tasty treat! If you're near the Outlets and need a bite, cross the Highway and enjoy this amazing spot!"
