"Came here for brunch and the food was amazing. It had a rich Smokey flavor cooked to perfection. Perfect portions and a comfortable environment. Britney was my waitress and she was just awesome. Friendly smile, very courteous. I am definitely going back."
"Our second visit to Hudson's and, while not perfect, it was a great experience. The owners have decorated extensively for Christmas which makes the entire restaurant feel like a festive farmhouse; a uniquely special atmosphere. Quail starter was a miss with very little meat and undercooked. The elk was incredible, perhaps the best piece of meat I have had this year. Even better than the smoked prime rib, which is also incredible. My wife's salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. Wine list getting better and, in general, you really get a sense that this place is a labor of love. Get there and support the effort."
"The meats were way too smoky with a bitter creosote taste. The fettuccine Alfredo pasta part of my dish was good but the chicken was mealy and so overly smoked that I feel sick from it. The place was not very busy for a Friday night but service was slow. I do have to say that the staff were all very friendly."
"Outstanding dinner. Get the elk. You will not regret it. So tender and flavorful. I wish I could get seconds. The foie gras and tartate app were both excellently done. The restaurant has a nice charm and the service was very personable and great. Live music was cool, too. Elk elk elk. If I could simplify this review it would be that: yes, the elk was worth it. Elk elk elk"
