"Ordered the bacon avocado burger in a lettuce wrap with the fries and drink combo and it was all excellent. The burger was seasoned really well and would’ve been delicious even without toppings. Very good thick, seasoned fries too. Spent a little more than $18 after adding a tip. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Definitely on my list to return."

"Usually order our food to take home but this time time we stayed in the dining room for lunch at around 12:10 pm on Sept. 27, 2023. Excellent food fresh off the grill, but dining room is small you can hear everyone's conversation. The tea is terrible, maybe the container hasn't been cleaned or exchanged out for a new one in a long time. Gigantic big screen T.V. is a plus. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp fried with cornmeal. For dessert I always get the funnel cake fries with powdered sugar and you can see they are generous with the powdered sugar. The food is awesome I would definitely recommend and visit here again."

"JLB Eatery is what you want a local restaurant to be. It has phenomenal customer service and the food is even better. I had the chance to eat a burger from here during a work luncheon that won me over instantly. The fresh baked hamburger buns are to die for. They are so soft and delectable. On to the food. JLB Cheese Burger. 9/10 1 Certified Angus Beef patty, mayonnaise, cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on a fresh baked bun. The burger was great, the veggies were crisp and fresh. The bun was like wow. So good. Crazy Burger. 9/10 2 Certigied Angus Beef patties, 2 Slices Cheese, Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Bacon. Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, and Thousand Island Dressing. Ok, the burger was better than the first burger I had but the first one was still great. With the two patties it was quite monstrous. Loved the crispy char on the edges of the burger. Way to big to eat and go back to work comfortably but I did and paid the price. Oh well it was worth it. Go give them a try if you haven’t, it’s a really great place that will give you awesome food and service."

"I love these small cozy family run spots! I came here with my wife and son and of course I needed to try a few things. I got the avocado bacon burger which was fantastic! My wife had the cheese steak sandwich, I got an order of Cajun wings which were juicy and crispy and a tender basket for our son. The fries were great and so were the tenders, which were large! I wish they had some country gravy to go with these! Will definitely come back. Great little small spot in Friendswood."

"Heard about this place from the Nextdoor app so the wife and i stopped here today for lunch. We were dying to have a hamburger. Today we had the cheeseburger combo with a side of onion rings. It was super delicious. Given that this place is new, i will say right now that the food tastes like they have been doing this for a while. The service was great. The dining room was nice and clean and spacious and inviting. The prices are very reasonable and the food portions are more than enough. We will come back. Many more items on the menu that we want to try. Cant wait !!"
