"Ordered through Uber Eats on a Sunday at 3pm! Figured a 24hr breakfast place would be good at ANY time! I got Cheese Grit(cup)- not even edible! Sausage/egg/cheese sandwich- bacon was raw! The waffle hash brown was delicious(but no ketchup in bag). $42 down the drain!!"

"Came at 3 PM to get some French toast. This is a 24/7 joint so I figured this should be a decent time to go. Decided to get the $16 French toast with berries and chicken. This is mainly a take out operation, following the food hall model that is popular right now. I had time though, so I decided to eat in. Food was ready quick, and upon getting back to my table I was disappointed to discover why. The French toast was hard and dry. Clearly made ages ago and just waiting, prepped for an order. The chicken tenders were exactly the same and obviously frozen bagged tenders; my public high school made them better. The French toast was advertised as having a few different types of berries in a healthy quantity. I was served three miniature strawberries with no other berries in sight. To cap off a disappointing experience, despite asking if utensils and extras (like butter and syrup) were in the bag, the disinterested attendant said, “Yeah they should be in the bag.” They weren’t. And apparently the only time someone is present at the pickup counter is when a new order is ready, so I had to yell into the back in hopes of getting someone’s attention. I wasn’t successful even though I could see the guy who handed off my order through a window in an adjacent room sitting on his phone. After 5 minutes of hoping another order would prompt someone to come to the counter, I called the number on the google listing and was greeted by a “hello???” from someone who sounded like they were in the car. I swore I had the wrong number. After asking if it was Houston Breakfast Kitchen and getting a “yeah” I explained the situation and he said he would send someone out. A few minutes later I finally got utensils and syrup, and went back to my table to nibble on my now even colder, very disappointing meal."

"They said you can’t mess up breakfast but this food was terrible. I spend 24 on this meal and this is exactly how it came. The grits were not good at all and the shrimp taste like something out of a box. Never going back"
