"If you don't eat beef. Don't come here. You're basically not welcome. At taco palenque there's no such thing as a "substitution". No existe. No matter what you get(taco burrito or one of their combos mainly). There's absolutely no substitution of meat. Either you eat the beef as shown in menu. Or spend an additional 15 dollars trying to build the combo out of other options. Regardless if you're willing to pay a substitute fee for said substitution. I've called, emailed and such. But it all falls on deaf ears. So if you're a beef eater, you're in the right place. Other than that good service and hey a chip/salsa bar!"

"I LOVE TACO PALENQUE!!! But unfortunately the last time I ordered delivery from here I was not very impressed. Perhaps there was a new cook, I do not know but it was disappointing. I WILL go back. Again and again!! When it is made right it is pretty perfect!!"

"A Co worker wanted to eat there and we went thru drive tru. There was only one car in front of us and from what we could see inside the restaurant, looked like only a few customers. It took approx 12 minutes for someone to ask for our order then an additional 11 more minutes for them to give us our order. We only ordered 4 tacos and chips and cheese. I told my co-worker we are never going there again."

"This is not our favorite location of this chain. We loved it in Round Rock and stopped here on a road trip expecting a similar experience. The food is still very good, but the atmosphere felt very different- kind of like management is cutting corners, maybe. The staff was kind but it was super weird having to ask permission to use their restroom - someone had to unlock the door for us. The tables and chairs needed some attention too, everything was wobbly. We enjoyed the flan, tres leches, and al pastor tacos most, and the salsa bar with chips is always a treat. I think with a few updates to the interior furniture and policies, this could be a lot better. In general, though, we love this chain and wish we had one up in the Dallas area!"
