"DO NOT NEVER GO HERE, the food isn’t good at all and you will not be satisfied, I went there for the very first time and got the worst experience ever. They overcharged us for our food, and thought that we wasn’t going realize. We ordered the fajita and it said $15.25 on the menu but when we go the receipt, they tried to charge us $24.00, knowing that it wasn’t the same amount on the menu and then tried to switch it up on us and tried to justify it, the manager didn’t ever talk to the employee because she know that the employee was wrong but the manager tried to justify it so many time. It’s so sad that you can’t go there and drink alcohol and they think u is not focus enough to realize what you suppose to be paying for. Please be aware of this restaurant."
"This place is ok. Staff was good. Food was very tex-mex. Not authentic. But, it wasn't bad, just not what we were expecting. I had two beef fajita tacos with rice and charro beans."
"service was excellent and the best part of my visit. I very much appreciated how courteous Rebecca was. She was very polite and very calm, and made good suggestions. ordered the stuffed avocado with fish. my fault I forgot to say no queso/cheese. I really didn't like the sauce at all because it tasted like Cheesewhiz. it was thoughtful that the server suggested veggies instead of the beans. I loved the tortilla chips and green salsa ."
"Monterey's Little Mexico at greenpoint drive is a happening place to grab some quick bites, the restaurant as the name suggests serves all mexican fare and is very lively on the ambience. The service could be a bit faster as we waited for almost a good 10-15 mins before our turn to order. They provide nachos with two dips in the meanwhile to munch and decide on the menu and maybe because of that they take time to return for taking orders. However as soon as the order was taken it was served very quickly. The taste was good, however I found the salt on the higher side and having melted cheese added more to that experience. Beans and rice were good in taste."
"Terrible! Never again. I ordered the chicken and spinach enchiladas. It was not good at all. If I don’t include the terrible customer service, I would still give one star just for the food. The tortillas seemed completely raw like they didn’t even microwave them. I don’t know if it was what I ordered or if all there food is like this, but first and last time for me."
