"I am currently sitting in restaurant very satisfied with the food, hospitality, and the love the the cook and her son have shown me and my daughter. I got the Amala with beef with added cow skin. The beef was so tender and so was the cow skin. The flavor of the sauce was amazing. I ended up ordering to go some Egusi and pounded yam since the food was so good.…. I am an African American woman and being able to enjoy the foods my ancestors were able to enjoy before slavery is more than food to me… thank you so much for sharing your gift and talent with me. "The food is literally one of the best Nigerian food in Houston. I could eat it every day. The food is fresh and tasty. The best egusi soup I have had to date. Even better than my mom's own. I first discovered this spot after ordering the Egusi soup off of ubereats. I was hooked after. I decided to dine in and I tried the amala ewedu for first time. The reviews were really good so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. It was Amazing. You won't regret ordering anything here!"
