"I’ll start with the positive; the lady who helped me was very kind and friendly. The food, however, was unpleasant. Everything was way too salty- the chicken, the gravy, and the Mac and cheese. The rice was mushy. The Mac and cheese seemingly came from a box, and it seems like they added even more salt to it. The yams were the only good thing on the plate. I think they came from a can, though, and the cook added a little razzle dazzle to them. I was shocked at how bad the food was, and I’m even more surprised to see how high the rating is on here. Very nice staff, though!"

"Neighborhood restaurant provides all those home cooked foods your Aunty or Grandma makes every Sunday. Lots of menu options for gumbo, fish, shrimp, meatloaf, chicken, and bbq. We enjoyed fried pork chops, greens, rice and gravy, gumbo. Sweet potato pie, banana pudding, and Kool Aid."
