"This is the first time my family and I visited the restaurant after they moved. They didn't move far, just down the strip to a smaller space. Gone were the poetry on their wall. The owner still kept the greenery on their wall as before. Their bar caught our eyes from outside. Once in, the slow piano filled the air, a different ambience from their previous place. Their service was fast. On a cold night like last night, we appreciated their hot vegetable soup. All the dishes were piping hot. We like the new place better than their old one!"

"I've been to Cooking Girl several times and have typically had a good experience. Unfortunately, I ordered the SweetSour Cucumber on doordash and received what is in the image attached. These were basically cucumber slices in a sweet water'ish liquid with a dash of vinegar. There were no spices, no chilis, no oil, no garlic. It was very bland. When I drove back to Cooking Girl to ask about it, I was told this is how it comes now for several years, even though it doesn't match the menu picture. When questioned further, I was told they were out of the ingredients (although some of those missing ingredients were in my other dishes). They did make me another dish, which was nice. Overall though, the food quality has declined from when I used to order here. Hope it turns around."
