"Update: they are now open Sundays for brunch. 10-3pm. Love that the music is not too loud and you can have a casual conversation. They also have a bar on the side to watch games or sit away from the family area and enjoy drinks. If you are over the basic Tex Mex food and want actual flavor in your plate stop thinking about trying this place, just go! Don’t let the look of the building fool the gem inside!! Came once to dine in and the suizas enchiladas(little heat) were amazing and even my 6 yr old child ate the flautas taquitos and he loved it!! Came back 2nd time for take out and took a chance to have their flan, which by the way I’m not usually a big fan of flan but this is the place I would come just for flan and coffee now. Space is huge enough to celebrate birthdays or any large number of guest gatherings. They are closed on Sundays so keep that in mind."

"I was skeptical to try this place out for breakfast but my mom convinced me. The manager greeted us and told us about the specials, the food came out fast, and it tasted delicious. They forgot something that I ordered and I didn't realize until I left, didn't bother. The place has a lot of seating as well and a bar."

"I know the owner is struggling to stay in business but that shouldnt entail charging $6 for a to-go SMALL brown lunch bag of chips (halfway full) and a tiny half a cup of salsa. I ordered two LARGE margaritas to-go which were also skimped on by 2oz's each. They were also not cheap especially given that it was happy hour ($8-$10) but of course I was not given happy hour price since mine were to go.....so $14 for each of those. All in all, two margaritas to go....minus 2oz each (20oz is what it should be and what you are charged for) and a half bag of chips with a half cup of salsa. $38!!! I can understand the prices of the drinks but at least give what we are paying for. The to-go chips and salsa....that is a pretty good amount of money to be charging. To top this off..... the owner is sitting at the bar while I am ordering AND specifically told the waitress in Spanish to charge me for the chips and salsa....Not sure if he did not know that I also speak Spanish but that was the icing on the cake. We have been here many times before and this is the absolute last time we will come here. I do not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere."

"Great restaurant and staff. Food portions are always huge and I never have enough room for dessert lol. Staff is extremely friendly and you even see the owner going around and making sure you're taken care of. They always have the Astros on the TVs as well! Can't recommend this place enough!"

"I went to the new location for the first time. Let me start with the chips and salsa, the salsa looked authentic (not from a jar) and it was warm but it had no flavor and it was very watery. I ordered the caldo the pollo (chicken soup) that didn't include tortillas, who does that?! The chicken was good but the caldo was red and tasted more like menudo broth, not like chicken broth. It was also missing a lot of vegetables, it was mostly carrots, My husband ordered the carne guisada and the meat was very dry. The skinny margarita on the rocks was very good. Sorry but we probably won't be back."
