"Stopped here for some Texas BBQ on our way back home. We are a bit critical of our Atlanta, Georgia, options; well this place was just awesome! The parking is country BBQ shack, but inside is one of the better-organized operations I’ve seen, for dine-in and to-go. Everyone was friendly from the staff to the regular diners. We opted for pulled pork plates with various sides. If you are used to pulled pork that needs sauce added, be prepares.. this is perfectly bathed in the right amount already. We also got a sampler of the brisket and sausage. One of the regulars had a few ribs _and_ a baked potato topped with pulled pork. I don’t know if I’d risk BBQ elsewhere in the Houston area because this was just too good! We can give thumbs ups to the buttered red potatoes and the potato salad. The cole slaw is a dryer variety but still good. And then we had the peach cobbler. Pre-made in take-away containers, still slightly warm. OMG. We are almost back home and wishing we had brought a pan with. And we didn’t even try the pudding. I’m not saying anything a local doesn’t know.. but if you are driving through on I-69, this is where you need to stop. Nice landmark with the big Epicenter building.. some well-priced gas stations, and whatever meal you need an excuse to have, and dessert to go so you don’t need to skimp on the meal! We’ll be back!"

"The first time here, the staff was not friendly or welcoming. Order two plates with two sides and one witts potatoes with Turkey & Brisket the turkey was Extra Salt. Couldn't eat, and as you move potatoes to the side, it was full of butter that looked like grease drained most of it into the cup that had Jalapenos in it. & took a picture of it. The sausage plate was disappointing of the quantity had more meat on the brisket plate, which was very disappointing for the first time. Don't think I will go back. barbecue sauce is not good. I taste better at the store. Macaroni and cheese is not good, either no flavor."

"Recommended from someone at a Christmas party and decided to ride out and try it out. Wow, I mean WOW!!! Friendly staff, fast service and the food is pretty damn good. The side were good, not the best but good enough that they pair well with the mains. The ribs were very flavorful and if you like sauce, feel free but the ribs don't need it. The Witt Taters are freaking AMAZING and filling af. This spot is a MUST. Moved from "want to try" to favorites on my Google Maps."
