"Had to stop by the ol Counter Cafe. Sucks they closed the old Lamar location. (Worked there years ago) Not much has changed. The fries were greasy and not crispy. Burger was cooked almost well done but at least tasted good. Quail was super salty. Biscuits had tooo much baking powder"

"Everything was delicious, our waiter was very attentive and it’s a very cute environment. The only complaint I have is how long we waited for our food. Otherwise everything was great. I got the honey butter chicken biscuit which was very fresh, kinda a chicken fried steak consistency so very crunchy and add some honey to it & it’s top notch! The other plate is the French toast special. it’s THE BEST FRENCH TOAST IVE EVER HAD."
