"Super nice staff food was great. I had the Steak & eggs. Their menu is something else. Their biscuits are the size of a coffee cup. Will be our stop every time we are down around there."

"We had driven by the Black Bear Diner multiple times and always intended to stop by. We finally did and it has immediately become my favorite restaurant in the Houston area. They have a great atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic prices, and a massive menu that can accommodate any craving. In addition, the service there was amazing. Corey was our waiter, and I am not exaggerating in saying that he offered the best customer service that we have experienced in Houston, if not Texas. Our son was upset when we arrived, and Corey was quick to get him a coloring page, crayons, and juice, which really remedied the situation. He also had some great recommendations for the navigating the massive menu and ensured that we never ran out of their delicious coffee (which he told us is ground on the spot - you can definitely tell). He also brought out a delicious sauce and suggested that I dip my hamburger into it - I normally don't dip hamburgers, but I tried it and it was amazing. Literally the only bad thing I have to say about this restaurant is that it is not closer to our house, although that would be dangerous! We will definitely be going back and taking family and friends with us. Eat here, you will not regret it!"

"Service was Amazing, but this was my first time getting my Hashbrowns burned. Which was odd because they are always made to perfection, but the chicken biscuit with Mike Hot Honey made it all ok. The biscuit melted in your mouth sweet Baby Jesus!"

"We visited this location on a Tuesday morning, so it was not busy being a week day. Somehow the service was still pretty terrible. Everyone was friendly but when there are 5-10 tables max I wouldn’t expect slow service. I’ve never been before so it might have been an off day, not sure. That being said, if you like a theme this is the place for you! The decor and vibe is a very focused theme. The food was very on par with diner food but there were interesting options. The cinnamon roll French toast was delicious. The stuffed black berry French toast was very dense in the edges. It is literally a stuffed bear claw that is treated like French toast. The inside was good though."

"10 out of 10 for everything. Immediately upon entering we created so warmly and seated very quickly. Our server was super sweet. Now on the the food. It was just what we needed to start our morning off. I got the Bears choice with scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. Can't go wrong with that. My bottomless coffee stayed bottomless as well. Definitely eating here again"
