"excellent coffee and service. I’m here at least once a week. Love their seasonal selection of coffees. The drive thru definitely helps!!! Nice to have one that isn’t just Starbucks. The handpies are my favorite pastry and the veggie lunch taco is my favorite taco."

"This one hurts. Jo's on SoCo is an Austin institution. As easy as it would to fall back on their famous profile they still run it like a legit coffee house - consistent, professional, all you could hope for. Not the best coffee in Austin but can hold their own with anyone. Opening the suburban drive thrus, while I get it from a business sense always runs the risk of diluting the brand, and they predictably did just that. What makes the original special is unique, historic and totally 'Austin'. Painting a Taco Bell the same color green, throwing the famous graffiti on the side and handing Starbucks out of the drive thru window makes me sad. Hope it was worth it. I'll still hit the SoCo location when I'm in the area, but this is just another suburban Starbucks drive thru painted to look like something it clearly isn't."

"I came in hoping to find a chill space to study in and get a nice drink as well since Jo's happens to be across the street from ACC South Austin. This was such a nice stop in between classes! I got a delicious matcha latte and settled in at a table and enjoyed my drink and the atmosphere while studying. The music was relaxing and fun, the customer area was clean, and most importantly in August, it was nice and cool inside! I will definitely be coming back in between classes!"

"Happy to see Jos expanding. There are about half a dozen tables inside. The coffee was great and the staff was friendly. They have WiFi and sell an assortment of food (tacos & pastries). They sell coffee beans and merch too."

"The new Jo's is great! Today (5/1/23) was their soft opening but they were well prepared for all of the customers. The atmosphere was laid back with chill radio playing but not too loud. The coffee is great, with plenty of different coffee and milk options (but oat and alternative milk is extra). They have a standard coffee station with sweetners and creamers. Their specialty drink is the iced turbo which is a creamy sweet coffee with chocolate and hazelnut and it's great if you like sweet coffee. There are also non-coffee options. There is also breakfast and baked goods, lunch with salads, and snack boxes. The breakfast is tacos and burritos with vegetarian and vegan options. The lunch is tacos and sandwiches also with dietary options and there are also salads. Pastries are half off after 3pm. There are plenty of free, nicely sized parking spaces and a drive thru. The inside is very clean and open and the staff was super friendly. There are clean gender neutral bathrooms and you need to ask for a bathroom key. The wifi is great (able to zoom, stream music) and there are outlets available in the seating area. There are 8 small tables (enough room for two laptops) with bench seating on one side and chairs on the other. The high school is very close, so there was a steady stream of students during their lunch and after school times. They also have merch to purchase. Definitely a solid addition to the coffee scene in South Austin!"
