Austin Java is a unique cafe and restaurant located at 5404 Menchaca Road in Austin, Texas. We believe in more than just selling coffee, which is why we have stayed true to our original mission as we have grown. Our menu includes a variety of options, such as flour or corn tortillas served with salsa and a side of black beans.
At Austin Java, we offer a new kind of coffee shop experience. Visit our Roastery to try the best coffee in town. If you're craving something delicious, Java on with us! In addition to serving great food and drinks, we are also dedicated to giving back to the community. The Central Texas Food Bank has worked tirelessly to provide nearly 54 million meals to those in need, and we support their efforts by accepting non-perishable food donations at our restaurant or by providing a link for monetary donations.

"Great breakfast and coffee. Enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla followed by walking to the adjacent book store and bakery."
"I loved the chill vibe and most of the food was good, but my eggs Benedict were very over cooked. Tasted like a hard boiled egg on untoasted bread. Very disappointing. However, my husband got the chicken and waffles which were very good and I ordered the spiced apple chai and it might be my new favorite drink."
"I love this place. Been a customer for a long time. Today I ordered a bean and cheese taco (at above average pricing, I might add) and was shocked to see what I saw when I opened the foil. What a joke. I mean seriously you guys basically handed me a wet foil package full of loose beans. Pretty bad quality control."
