"Quaint little cafe strategically located in the CBD of Austin. Finally a coffee shop in the US that does a chocolate drink right, though I would have wished it came in a much larger size and with less ice. It was so good and I had a second cup. It does not have a kitchen so only small sandwiches/burritos and some pastries are available. It sees a lot of customers but a good number are takeaways, leaving plenty of seating available. Overall a great place to get some work done."
"Stopped in for a latte on a chilly afternoon. It is a no frills coffee shop with a somewhat basic and not overly exciting coffee menu. The environment is similar to most coffee shops. There was a short line that they got through in a timely manner. We both had almond milk latte with vanilla and the drinks were good. Nothing mind blowing but good. My only complaint world be the selection of drinks but it is a nice place that made a good latte and is worth a stop for a basic drink."
"The coffee is actually good and sophisticated. I got the espresso straight. Tasted like an authentic. Bitter notes in the after. Typical for a dark roast. Would come back for sure. Like that they provide a soda water with the espresso for cleansing of the palate."
"Good cold brew. My wife got a vanilla latte. Admittedly, there was something a bit different about the vanilla that we didn’t love, but the latte was done very well and the atmosphere here is beautiful. Above and beyond for customer service. Our barista was on point - professional and fast."
"No frills, but just what we needed. 4 stars because nothing pushed me over the edge for 5. I went to Houndstooth around 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday after a night of fun...and drinks. We needed some coffee. I had a dirty matcha latte, which was only okay but did the trick. My wife had a vanilla latte she said was good. We also had a chocolate and plain croissant, both were slightly above average. I'd go back for sure, but nothing blew me away."
