"Stopped on way back from Winstar. Had the 3 meat plate. Enough for wife me to eat later in the day at home. Serious bbq, tender and flavorful. Beans were amazing as well. This is a Must-Stop on future trips."
"I paid 24 dollars(19 dollars for the plate and I left a 5 dollar tip). I’ve never been here before but I had to stop for lunch. It was a cash only type of deal, but when I tell you the drive to the closest ATM didn’t make me forget about the smell! Please drop by, this guy will take care of you and he’s super friendly. Make note of the turn into the little parking lot type deal. It was a great experience and I plan to be here more often. P.S. the potato salad was great!"

"Pepper Belly BBQ is the real deal. If in Sanger Texas, you need to try it. The three meat plate is enough for two people and for $17 you can't beat the price. Had sliced brisket, sausage and pulled pork. The pork was the best of the three meats I had. I want to try their ribs and poppers next time. Excellent."
"Don't be fooled by appearances, sometimes looks can be deceiving! We were driving though Sanger, TX and stumbled upon this gem! Pepper Belly BBQ serves up traditional BBQ prepared to perfection! Visible smoke ring on the brisket which was also tender and moist. Pulled pork did not disappoint. Mac & Cheese was extra creamy. Beans were delicious with generous bites of bacon. Topped off with Texas Toast. Owner Leonard serves up a pleasantly spicy homemade BBQ sauce with his extra spicy personality. Truly a wonderful stop that was busy with local regulars."
