"Tucked away and a GEM! I wanted some fried fish one day and this place spoke to me! Only thing is I wish I had told them to add pickle to my poboy, the gator was SUPER GOOD!!! And extremely fresh I may add! They do charge extra when u pay with a card so be prepared for the 2-3 dollar upcharge but that gator so good it’s worth it!"
"I picked Bayou Cajun Cafe for its reviews. The reviews were really good and so was the food. I was unimpressed when I drove up to the strip mall and when we walked into the cafe. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the order counter. I had the Bayou Combo which included perfectly fried catfish and a delicious crawfish étouffée. I will be back!"
"This place is very sketchy because they don’t have any prices on the menu. We ordered 2 orders of shrimp and gator with fries, 3 piece of boudain balls, and 1 soft drink for $45 at lunch time. Then I had a friend go there later in the day and order literally the same exact thing as we did, 2 orders of shrimp and gator with fries, 1 soft drink, and 3 piece of boudin balls and paid $32!! The fries were cooked nice and crispy and the gator was pretty good. The shrimp has a nasty fishy taste. Will not be coming back or recommend to anyone"
"Amazing seafood. Nice, large portions. Definitely worth the price. I had the shrimp poboy, and my wife had the fried shrimp plate. The spices were perfect. Great food!"
