"Great donut takeout place by my brother's house."
"I was there at 11:00 am & was told they didn’t have turkey and Swiss kolache. Okay that’s fine. I then proceeded to order something else and when I started to order a half dozen donut I was again met with the excuse that they didn’t have the donuts I wanted because and I quote the lady “it was made during morning time.” I was there at 11AM!!! It’s still morning time. After I said I was cancelling my order she proceeded to laugh at me. Now I’m not sure what kind of customer service that is but as a former manager for Shipley myself this is unprofessional. I will never return to this location again. If my review could have 0 stars that’s exactly what it would have."
"We wanted to try a donut place we don’t have in NC and tried Shipleys. My sons fiancé said the donut were delicious. I got the basic chocolate donut and it was pretty average tasting to me. I’m glad I tried it though, to say I tried it. I don’t think I will be going back or maybe go there early in the morning to try when the donuts freshly come out. They don’t have Shipleys where I live in NC. Donut prices are comparable to other donut chains."
