Shipley Do-Nuts

"Great service! What happened to the cream inside? I felt like I'm being tricked with only a little bit of cream on each end."

"Went to get late night Shipley’s and ordered some glazed donuts and hot chocolate. Glazed donuts were perfect but this was no hot chocolate. This is pure fudge or some chocolate dip prep for donuts, not sure, but the liquid was THICK. The guy that was preparing kept giggling or was high in the kitchen area and pretty sure he didn’t take it seriously and dump a whole fudge into the cup and call it hot chocolate… it was my first time drinking hot chocolate from here so this was not what I was expecting, if this was really Shipley’s “hot chocolate.” That’s why I’ll give this a 2 star."

"Went there for the first time. Service were nice there and the doughnuts were hot and fresh. They made it hot after we order. Love the shop and hope to visit soon again."

"This Shipleys is always fast at providing you with your order and accurately. Staff is friendly and the inside seating is such a nice look, extremely clean and great music plays over rthe speakers. This location offers several types of awesome coffee selections from your regular hit cup, to frappes and including iced beverages like my caramel mocha I ordered, in my picture. But if you aren't feeling like something sweet, you can stop in morning, noon or night and have yourself a kolache! They also have an outdoor seating area so weather permitting, it's a must!"

"Thanks to the recommendation of my cousin from Louisiana, she advised this was the BEST place to get beignets outside of Louisiana (or maybe even better than!)! So I had to check it out… While there was an unfortunate delivery issue - no fault to the store themselves, thankfully the store manager helped rectify the situation. I am extremely grateful to this location’s manager for helping me out, as who knows when I will have an opportunity to try these again, let alone be in Houston. Their beignets did not disappoint, especially since the manager made sure I had fresh ones (& fresh coffee) when I arrived! I recommended to anyone that this place is a MUST for the beignets AND Note, not all Shipley locations offer beignets. While they traditionally have icing sugar on top, we chose the cinnamon / sugar mix option instead (LOVE this version). If I’m ever back in this city, I’ll be sure to make a b-line to one of their locations for another fix of their beignets (& coffee). I regret not buying a baseball cap… Lol Thanks much!
