"Circle K is no more. We always enjoyed Tracy greeting us by name and remembering our order. The open counter and inviting atmosphere made us feel at home in our neighborhood. All that is gone now. Since the store was sold, everything has changed, and not for the better. Ghetto gambling machines now line the front window, the vibe is being cheapened dramatically, and items we regularly purchased are no longer available. Instead of being a pillar of a strong neighborhood, the new owners appear anxious to pander to the lowest common denominator. It's no wonder they're having to add a bullet proof box for the language-challenged clerks to hide in. Very sad. We'll be driving a little further for supplies now. The Circle K at 1960 and Perry remains traditional and inviting."
