"If you get there at 4:30 they put everything up and won’t serve you for some reason even though they close at 5"
"So being a native Houstonian, Shipley's has a standard taste and freshness. I never would have reviewed this location, but the last 3 visits they didn't have HOT donuts. How do we visit before 7am and I have to ask them to warm the donuts. Shipley's donuts are meant to be eaten hot. Once they cool its a wrap. It's close to my house so I bring my son, but close isn't always better. I guess I have to go to the Ella, MLK or West Bellfort location. It would be great if they had a hot sign like the Ella location. I would just expect hot donuts at 6:45am or 7am. Just me though. I see everyone loves this location, maybe the drive-thru is not the best way to get hot ones. Who knows."
