"This Shipleys is convenient because it’s so close to my home, but no way i’m gonna keep coming here if this stays the same. today they had drive through only, small issue but it limits how much im willing to spend because i can’t see what i want. One of the best parts about going inside is looking and picking out your favorite donuts and sweets. On top of that the lady at the drive through was just so rude for no reason, closed the window before i was finished ordering then got annoyed when i told her the rest of my order. she definitely has 0 points in her kindness stats. If you hate your job then work somewhere else but don’t make it everybody else’s problem i just want some donuts and hot chocolate man. Customer service is nonexistent here."

"These people are so unprofessional. They are always either closing early or out of something. This time, I stopped by at 6pm, a full hour before closing. I attempted to order a dozen glazed donuts and was told it was too late. Apparently, not only did she not have any glazed donuts, but she was getting ready to close the store in about 30 minutes, a full half an hour earlier than advertised. This is not the first time I’ve had an experience with a random closing from this same store. I would highly recommend going to a different Shipley, ran under a different franchise owner."

"It was an early Thursday morning in Houston, Texas, and I was craving a kolache. I knew exactly where to go: Shipley Do-nut at Highway 6 North. Shipley Do-nut is a Houston institution, and it's known for its delicious kolaches. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, but my favorites are the Kolache-Sausage and Cheese and the Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños. I arrived at Shipley Do-nut around 7:30am, and the place was already buzzing. There was a line of people waiting to order, but it moved quickly. I placed my order for a Kolache-Sausage and Cheese and a Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños. The kolaches were freshly made and piping hot out of the oven. They were soft and fluffy on the inside, and the fillings were generous and flavorful. The sausage was juicy and flavorful, and the cheese was melted and gooey. The jalapeños in the Kolache-Sausage, Cheese, and Jalapeños added a nice kick of heat. I took a bite of each kolache and was immediately transported to heaven. The flavors were so delicious and comforting. The kolaches were the perfect way to start my day, and they gave me the energy I needed to power through the morning. I highly recommend Shipley Do-nut for anyone looking for a delicious and timely breakfast. The kolaches are delicious and affordable, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Keep it up Shipley Do-Nuts!"

"Came to get a dozen donuts at this Shipley Donuts store. The lady that was helping us was not pleasant at all. When we got our dozen donuts, they looked like they were a bad batch. Alot of the glaze was missing and you can see they were dry from the top. We also ordered a dozen donut holes and received only 10 donut holes. It seems like they don't take pride in their work any longer. They just don't care about presentation. I understand we went to get donuts in the afternoon, but it does'nt mean you can't get quality. Also, what happened to the cream filled donuts? It's not whipped cream anymore. Seems like thick glaze. They should let customers know before they purchase."
