"This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and the manager was super nice. We waited a little while, but it was WORTH the wait!! Everything was amazing even the marinara sauce with out calzone."

"I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza here. I stopped in expecting a run of the mill pizza place but I got something more than that. Cheese was great, crust was perfect and the sauce had a great flavor and consistency. In a world of domino's and pizza huts, places like this are refreshing."

"Literally the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in Texas. I almost never review places, but had to write about how good this was. We got a small house salad that was decent for a pizza place. The star was the pizza. The kids got the Pineapple Express which I was told was delicious. Us parents got the Boss Supreme. Sauce cheese and crust were all excellent, and the toppings were above and beyond in quality. The menu is huge so now I have to try them all."

"I was really surprised with how good Boss pizza is! They've been in my neighborhood for a while and I hadn't tried them, but our neighborhood group kept going on about them and I had to try them out. Great! I got 3 different pies and they were all exceptional. Their Hawaiian was surprising, as I usually don't eat those (my kids love it) but it was just full of great toppings! Their prices seemed a little high until I saw how many toppings were on the pies - they were packed. Lots of really high quality ingredients all put together well and cooked to perfection. Their pizza was so good I felt like I was cheating on some of my regulars, and will again. Try them out, you won't be disappointed."

"Boss Pizza Co in North Austin, Texas, isn’t just another pizzeria—it’s an experience that manages to encapsulate the spirit and flavors of New York-style pizza while adding unique, creative touches that are distinctly its own. Let’s start with the crust—often considered the backbone of any great pizza. At Boss, the crust hits the sweet spot between chewy and crispy, managing to hold its integrity even under a generous load of toppings. It’s a crust that’s robust but not overpowering, allowing the flavors of the fresh ingredients to take center stage. One of the show-stoppers we ordered was the Missing Witness pizza. Every ingredient on this pizza played a role in creating a culinary symphony. The Crema Mexicana lent a creamy texture and a subtle tang that beautifully offset the earthiness of the spinach and mushrooms. The thinly sliced onions added just the right amount of bite, and the cracked black pepper gave it a hint of spice. However, what tied it all together was the salty and rich prosciutto, garnished elegantly with fresh arugula and a dusting of Parmigiano Reggiano. It wasn’t just a pizza; it was a narrative of flavors and textures that unfolded with each bite. Then there was the Son of a Peach, a delectable masterpiece that challenged our perceptions of what a pizza could be. The roasted peaches offered a natural sweetness that was nothing short of transformative when paired with the saltiness of the prosciutto. Adding a layer of complexity were the crumbled goat cheese and pecans, which contributed both texture and depth. The balsamic reduction and fresh sage garnish acted as the final brush strokes on this edible work of art, lending a tangy sweetness and a herby fragrance that elevated the pizza to the realm of the extraordinary. Beyond the artisan pizzas, we sampled their breadsticks, Boss Margherita, and the Friedel. The breadsticks were perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of crunch, setting the stage for the pizzas to come. The Margherita was a classic done right, with fresh basil and creamy mozzarella singing in harmony on a canvas of vibrant tomato sauce. The Friedel was another hit, further proving that Boss is a pizzeria that knows its craft well. And let’s not forget the pepperoni pizza; the cup-and-char pepperoni was cooked to perfection, achieving a sublime balance between crispy edges and a juicy center. Out of the six pizzas we ordered, not a single slice remained. Boss Pizza Co wasn’t just a meal; it was an event that had everyone at our family reunion raving and vowing to return every time they visit Austin. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re in or around North Austin and you have even a passing interest in great pizza, do yourself a favor and experience Boss Pizza Co. Your palate will be forever grateful."
