"In spite of the difficulty in finding parking due to construction projects in the area, it’s worth checking out this historic seafood eatery that is still family-owned after 73 years and 4 generations. Clean, neat, and tidy, with great food served by pleasant & attentive staff. Note: This is THE original Oyster Bar in the Brownsville area, and I remember being brought here by my mother in the 1960’s, and it offered great seafood and was well-managed back then, too!"
"Food was way overpriced and just not good. The fried oysters had a thick breading with tiny a tiny oyster. The buns were packaged. There was only one choice of dressing for the lettuce and one slice of tomato. So disappointing, not good, left hungry and an empty pocket. I hate when a restaurant doesn't serve real butter, that's a sign of lack of quality."
"Excellent seafood restaurant, our meals always come out hot and are quickly served. They have great lunch specials, half and order of shrimp or fish with fries or baked potatoe, and a tea."
