"We love the oyster bar. It's not a pretentious place. It doesn't pretend to be something that it's not. There's great food. Good service and the atmosphere is well, 1970s Chinese restaurant. But the food is great and that's what a restaurant is all about."
"We stopped by today for lunch after our way back to Mission from the island. Eating here brought fond memories when Mission and McAllen had the Oyster Bar there too. We would frequent those locations very often. The shrimp and fish were delicious along with the baked potatoes, soup and salads. All of us enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent! Food still tastes the same from way back then which is a good thing. Will definitely stop by again when in this area!"
"From the service to the food our experience was exactly what we wanted. All the food ordered was hot, fresh, visually pleasing and delicious. My friends had the fried shrimp, my wife had the clam chowder and I had the broiled fish. The French fries were hot and fresh. The salads were cold and crispy. The only downside was there is only two choices for salad dressing; thousand island and ranch. Not sure why that was. We all said it was worth another visit."
"Just had oysters and a michelada, service was great and so was the drink and oysters! This place has been around forever so it definitely gives off old school vibes and it feels like you are stepping back into the 80s/90s! Loved it!"
