Oak Texas Bar & Grill - Weslaco is a Texan-inspired institution located at 303 South Texas Boulevard in Weslaco, Texas, United States. With a commitment to using Texas-made products, our restaurant offers a unique dining experience that celebrates all things Texan.
Established in 2016 in Downtown McAllen, our restaurant prides itself on its distinct décor, handcrafted cocktails, and delicious food. In 2020, we opened a second location in North McAllen, and despite the challenges of a global pandemic, we adapted and continued to serve our community with pride.
Our South Texas Brunch has further solidified our reputation in the Rio Grande Valley, leading us to expand to Weslaco and South McAllen. Soon, we will also offer a private room for gatherings and special occasions at our South 10th and Weslaco locations.

"Good food and good drinks (pricey). Service is pretty good. Be aware that they charge a 20 percent tip on any bill of 100 dollars regardless of the quality of service you receive. Edit: Regarding the response from the business. It was a table of 4 (not seated at the bar). The server was asked about added gratuity since it seemed out of the norm and stated it was the policy of the establishment."
"Oak is always a cool place to go to for some alcohol and football. The food is also really good in my opinion, but my only gripe is that brunch lasts from 11-4. I think that brunch should last only 2-3hrs max not 5hrs. After 4pm though I highly recommend the fish tacos they serve there. The service was good and the vibes felt like I was in a club while trying to eat some food and watch some football."
"The fajita skillet was delicious. Our server Carrie was excellent! The atmosphere and energy had good vibes. I do not live in Weslaco anymore but I am from there born and raised and I'm glad the community is building more and more local businesses."
"Im a chilaquiles fan and this place has some amazing chilaquiles. Super crunchy, I got the divorciados and I highly recommend it. My husband and got the cucumber refresher virgin and it was good but it would be epic if they added a hint of lime to it. My daughter had the kids brunch it is big enough for an adult to enjoy."
