"The food and service were great! We had breakfast and were both satisfied with the food. The service was excellent. Our server was both friendly and efficient. Even the manager stopped by our table and was cordial. The only minor incident was at the checkout. Being unfamiliar with how the rewards program worked I questioned why my rewards didn't apply to my purchase on a retail merchandise purchase of coffee cups. The checkout woman rudely said "The cash register will pick it up if any rewards apply." Later when I got to the car I looked it up on the app and if I would have spent a couple more dollars for an extra cup to reach the minimum purchase amount for rewards then it would have been applied. If I would have known that would have purchased another cup. Please remind your staff to explain the rewards program or take the time to explain especially for us old folks. It was a turnoff to be treated that way after everything else was great."
"Loved “Momma’s Breakfast!” We were seated almost immediately, and the waitress visited our table right away. After ordering, our food came out quite promptly. The eggs were perfectly over-easy and the pancakes light and fluffy. The cute little bottle of syrup was a nice touch too. I also enjoyed the Southern Fried Chicken special. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and she appeared to be genuinely happy to serve us! We also enjoyed the gift shop with its many one-of-a-kind, old-school styled gifts: reissued vinyl albums by “The Who”, toys, clothes, hats, candy, games, and more. The price for our meals was more than reasonable. We had leftovers, and were given sturdy to-go boxes and a strong bag to carry them in. Thank you Cracker Barrel!"
