"This intimate restaurant located in Del Rio is above the typical restaurant in this border region. While somewhat private, you are still in the center of the action with a golf course just behind it. The restaurant is quiet enough, allowing you to enjoy an upscale dining experience. The décor of the Fine Cut Restaurant is modern and sophisticated. With neutral accents and dark wood tones, it is reminiscent of an upscale steakhouse in bigger cities. The color palette compliments the rich, bold flavors of your dining experience. The picanha steak was bursting with flavor. This perfectly seasoned cut of beef needed no embellishments. My knife effortlessly sliced through each cut, delivering one of the best steaks I have ever had. While most steakhouses know how to prepare a steak, many fall short when it comes to the accompaniments. Not the Good Bar Steakhouse. The Poblano Fideo was creamy and bursting with flavors with every bite. If you have not visited the Good Bar Steakhouse, you are missing out."

"Took 20 minutes for us to receive a waitress to take our order (had to wave em down) and we waited for almost 2 hours to receive food. My dish was incredibly over cooked as I had no choice but to eat since we waited. My partner and I brought this issue up to the owner and they got defensive very quickly with the criticism we provided (in a respectful manner). We understood the restaurant had a full house that night but it should be your responsibility as a business owner to handle and prepare for high traffic days. This Isn’t only complaint I’ve seen about the good bar surrounding this issue. I asked for my dish to be taken off the tab and the owner gave us a hard time and was rude about it, didn’t seem to take constructive criticism well. He explained the process of how the dish was prepared,.. This does not excuse an over cooked dish, it’s okay to have off days. Overall a very disappointing experience last night."

"Had been there before and the food was very good even if the wait staff is a little undertrained and the bar is hit or miss. Tonight however the chicken fried steak was not so good and it was excellent last visit. Thin with undercooked cold gravy. May not be back any time soon to give restauran time to settle in, train up, develop a truly good bar and be more consistent with food quality. Our server was pleasant and trying hard to please."
