Press Cafe

"I had been to Press Cafe in Fort Worth. I realize that it will cost a little more but the ambiance and food will be worth it. We were unable to sit outside with beautiful weather. Never understood why? It was 5pm on a Sunday and they had plenty of staff—weather was perfect which is why we went there. If they just opened then it would only make sense to allow customers to sit on the outside of the restaurant like we saw one hour before. Outside of that it was decent until I asked for a specific drink. Then I was asked, “it’s $12 is that okay?” This is after we ordered appetizer & a main entree. I was offended by that comment so will not return. (Grew up in restaurants and normally someone will offer options without/with prices and ask what they may want rather than asking if they could afford it.) I was wearing casual clothes and will say the first time I’ve been asked like that in my decades of living—so yes I was offended. Guess there is a first for everything but if that is how others are treated then I would hope that they learn how to be more respectful. Also- use the patio— that space is nice! This is a brand new place."

"Great experience for dinner and drinks, the spicy pineapple margarita is excellent, so is their old fashion. The truffle fries and the hummus plate were very good as well. The spicy rigatoni was excellent, I had the chicken parm and it was very good and a pretty good size portion, the quinoa bowl was probably everyone’s favorite (had an Asian stir fry flavor) the deconstructed pot pie was good and different with a flaky pastry, the mixed berry cobbler was good but tiny. Great place with a cool vibe with excellent customer service, not bad for just opening its doors a few weeks ago"

"I ordered the El Capitan breakfast burrito. It was basically tasteless, I wonder if the cook eats his own food. My wife just ordered tea that was served in a very small cup, no refill. I also had coffee which was actually very good. The server, a tall male with glasses, was kinda blah. No personality and never asked how my food was and never asked if I wanted more coffee. The restaurant decor was very nice."

"Breakfast was fresh, scrumptious and gluten free all here in Aledo. They were able to offer a gluten free bun for their breakfast sandwich and was a total win."

"Finally, a Millennial-friendly spot in Aledo! The ambiance and food are both excellent. This is a great place to come for a brunch, business lunch, social happy hour, and date night. It is a bit on the pricey side, but on par with peer establishments in nearby Fort Worth. The only complaint I have is that the restrooms are a coed area, which means there is no ladies lounge/powder room. Also, there is no visual barrier between the washroom and the rest of the restaurant. It is a little odd to watch people washing their hands. If there were a powder room and the washroom were more private, this would be a solid five star review."
