"I use the nature trail. Most people that come here use it for launching their kayaks. I'm always the only one walking the trail everytime I go. Very easy hike. Less than two miles. You walk parallel with the river for half the walk. Really pretty. My dog loves it. Easy trail for an older dog."

"Haven't been on the trails, but have kayaked through on the river several times. It's wild and lovely, hard to imagine your in the middle of town. I would imagine it floods with heavy rains and bring your bug spray."

"The paddle was great water was a little shallow in places but couldn't be avoided due to rain shortage. Scenery is amazing and very enjoyable. Certain areas inexperienced paddlers may struggle with maneuvering. It was a great way to spend the day. If you do paddle please remember to take your garbage/trash/fishing lines and floats with you don't spoil it for other people. We share this beautiful spot with other people and wildlife."
