Church's Texas Chicken

"My fiancé & I happened to be on this side of town on Friday & wanted some chicken so we stopped here. We spent over $30 on just 2 meals. When we got home I was absolutely disgusted by what they had given us. Our chicken was so hard that you physically couldn’t bite in to them. It was sooo old. The fries tasted as if they had been sitting since yesterday. The okra was literally crumbs of crust. Mind you we went right after lunch time so you’d think the food would have been somewhat fresh. I called to speak to the “manager” who stated her name was Destiny. I told her how awful the food was & that I couldn’t believe they were even ok serving this to ppl. I asked her as a manager what she would do to fix this & she ran me in circles. First it was she would put my name down to come back in the next 2 weeks & they’d remake my order. Then she switched to say I had to come back, bring the food & id be refunded. She sounded like a child & asked me not to be “mean” to her lol definitely didn’t seem like someone they’d want in a management position. what a joke. We just took our loss with it cause we lived on the other side of town but 100% will never go back again."

"I ordered the 30.99 specials every time , but Last time they didn’t give me the biscuits and this time they didn’t give us the 4 piece chicken legs. I should check my order every time make sure I got everything."

"This place is horrible. I’ve order through door dash and in person. They know how to cook chicken but service is horrible. Every order is wrong through a delivery company or in store. Seriously every order is wrong. The last time I was in there the ten customers in front of me all came back due to issues with order. When I call the took my call then pretended the couldn’t hear me then never answered again. I think they skim of peoples orders to feed themselves because they seem to have issues with me when I tell them to give me the rest of my order. So buyer beware check your order this place will always have missing items. But their chicken is good."

"Went to this location to get a family meal for me and my kids and they forgot my 8 biscuits and ended up charging me for 2 corns and I called them to correct with a manager and they said they would write my name down so I could go get it well come to find out the manager never did .. so upset cause I spent over 50 bucks for my food never going back to this church’s"
