"I keep hearing how good this place is, so I tried it. Maybe I had super high expectations, but I found it to be about average. No complaints, but nothing exceptional either. (I ate at the grocery store location, and I still plan to try the original location). I will review it separately."

"Stopped in her on a recommendation from a friend. I was impressed and it is very popular with the locals. It’s set inside the United Grocery Store which is surprising but makes for a unique atmosphere. I had the Brisket and Turkey plate. It was above average for sure but not the best I have experienced. Brisket was moist and lean. The Turkey was the star for me. It had a great flavor and was very juicy. I wanted Banana Pudding but they were out by 1130 am…must be good."
"Very friendly service and absolutely delicious food, I would highly recommend! We had the chopped brisket sandwich which is pretty big, the grits and jalapeño cornbread were very good as well as the cheesy potatoes were very good! You can’t go wrong with anything from here and you don’t have to worry about small portions you will leave full and happy!"
"Best BBQ I’ve had in Texas. We were told this was top 5 in Texas. This location is inside the United Supermarket. Turkey and brisket was bomb. Potato casserole and cornbread were great."
