"We had an amazing meal at Bordo! We were just in town from Minnesota for a short time and several locals recommended we go here. Everything in our 6 course meal was exquisite. The presentation was equally beautiful. The drinks were so tasty as well, the passion fruit drink especially because you could smell the passion fruit with each sip. Our server, one of the owners, had such a lovely style. Thank you, what a treat."

"Stopped in to Bordo for lunch after our tour at Chinati (at the recommendation of our guide) and were blown away by how good the experience was. The staff execute with a laid-back confidence and clearly love what they're doing. The free slices of prosciutto I was handed while waiting to order really set the tone for what was to come: the best Italian sandwich I've had Stateside! Be sure to grab a spritz with your order, and maybe a low-key espresso before you leave. Grazie mille alla squadra."

"When everyone in town tells you to go to Bordo’s, you go! Life changing sandwiches, warm hospitality, and food that’s clearly made with love. Try the mortadella stracciatella sandwich with pistachio butter, heck, try two! The texture of the chewy bread is immediately satisfying and unlike traditional Italian bread, perfectly salted and not dry. The extra shaving of parmigiano and pistachio sprinkles on top of the bread can not go unmentioned either. They create an extra layer of texture that contrasts perfectly to the rich, slightly sweet slathering of house-made pistachio butter. This is sandwich art people, go to Bordo’s now!"

"Amazing food, great service. The employees greeted & treated us like we’ve known each other for years. Only downside during the wintertime is the outdoor seating, it was so cold/windy that it was hard to enjoy our sandwiches!"

"Amazing all around. Spent a weekend in Marfa and had lunch here every single day, it was the highlight of our trip. Every single detail is so perfectly curated. From the branding and color scheme to the careful selection of ingredients, you can really tell everything they do is well-thought out and intentional. Menu is seemingly simple but the level of care and quality of ingredients elevate everything to a whole new level. The pasta is made in house and perfectly cooked, the salads are simple but perfectly seasoned and the sandwich bread, which is made every day fresh in their patio, is out of this world and unlike anything I’ve ever had. Tried a couple sandwiches on their menu and although all of them were spectacular, the Serva is without a doubt the star or the show and the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The crispy potatoes are magic too. It may sound crazy but the most amazing thing about this place is not even the food but the people behind it, specially Angelo and Hannah. Upon entering you are always greeted with a smile, always happy to recommend and talk to you despite the long line out the door. They remembered us by name and thanked us for coming back every time. You can tell this is a labor of love and that is what truly makes it stand out. Bordo has my heart and I can’t wait to go back."
