"Newly opened, this Mexican restaurant was a tasty find in a town that has very limited options for dining. Chips were crisp and fresh; salsa needed a little salt but had good flavor and just the right amount of heat. Our plates had generous portions and definitely had that home-cooked taste. There were lots of tables and booths available for seating with 3 wall-mounted TVs playing shows that kept my 3rd grader entertained. Service was fast and friendly. Drink refills came without us having to ask for them. We enjoyed our late lunch and were very glad to find some good Mexican food in Idalou."
