"Dario’s is top notch and our family’s favorite! The restaurant is small and casual but nobody is there for that. In my opinion, it’s the best pizza in Lubbock. Dario, who is usually in-store crafting the pies himself with a big smile, has nailed the pizza recipe. He has the best flavored dough, his sauce-to-topping ratio is perfect, everything is fresh, and it’s never too greasy. The crust is the best part with just the right crisp. The pepperoni and beef never disappoints… We haven’t even tried a calzone yet because the pizza is so fire!"
"Best pizza in Lubbock hands down! Every time I’m in Lubbock I stop and get a pizza. Dario has been making pizzas FOREVER! Since I was a kid going to “One guys” he was always running the show there (when the pies were actually good). One guys just isn’t what it used to be, (they suck now in my opinion) and Dario started his own pizza joint that has that same nostalgic taste. Support this local small business, you won’t regret it."
"My family and I love Dario's. My husband gets the house made calzone. My daughter can get a single slice of cheese pizza with pineapple ( it her favorite and the perfect size for her). I love the cauliflower crust with an assessment of toppings. So delicious! The employees are so welcoming. Dario has been cooking every time we have gone or called for takeout. One of our favorite spots for sure."
"The pizza was great! Nicely flavored sauce and excellent texture and taste in the crust. This appears to be a fairly new restaurant, so the atmosphere and decor is likely still in progress. However, there were TVs with various games on; that suited our needs for sure. Staff was very courteous and Dario was visibly working hard to create each delicious pizza and calzone. Definitely worth another visit!"
"Updated review 5.27.23 - Dario cooks from his heart and is one of the hardest working men I know. Freshly made calzones and delivered to the table by the man himself!!! A piece of heaven!! Best calzones ever! Crust was flaky, not tough. Just the right amount of sauce, meat and cheese. Thank you Dario!!"
