"Blanton woods is the perfect hike through the woods. It is not crowded and perfect for your dog. Several trails are available. I took the almost 2 mile yellow trail. The trails are marked very well so don’t worry about getting lost except when the trail crosses Blanton House. This part feels weird because you are crossing a property. But no worries, keep going and look for a small gazebo and that is the entrance to the trail again. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the benches and very steep stairs are not maintained very well. Also, do not attempt after a rain or you will slip on the very steep inclines. The trials can be muddy. Enjoy tons of wildlife and access to the river! Awesome hike, I will definitely go back."

"Nice place for a hike, or to just sit and enjoy the woods and creek. The trails are a little confusing in spots, but they are well marked. So if you keep track of where you turn, you'll always find your way. It's a beautiful place overall."
