"I’m new to town, and I absolutely love the quaint town of downtown Lake Wales. The farmer’s market every other Saturday is so fun. What a great way to stretch your legs, shop, and support your local businesses! A++ Lynn runs the event, and he does a marvelous job keeping touch with vendors and making the visitors happy."

"Drove 40 minutes to go to the Lake Wales Farmers Market and was very disappointed to find no one there. According to website(s) it was supposed to be open until 1pm. I arrived at 12 noon on Saturday June 20, 2020 and there was no sign that there had been anyone there."

"Lake Wales is a quaint little peaceful town, its buildings are decorated with many beautiful murals of different themes. Home for one of Polk State College campuses and sponsors a car show in the downtown strip, featuring some of the nicest vintage vehicles of the area."
