"I stayed at the Vanal Quaters on the 4th of July weekend 2022. It was wonderful. On Saturday night qe saw the fireworks off in VA. Maybe it was from Sterling VA. The house was quiet. It was hot, being July and all. Bring some flash lights and a battery operated fan. It's all good. Kayaker my heart out. FUN TIMES."

"This lock was one of my favorites but it has recently fallen into disrepair. The bathroom here has not been cleaned since January and the area surrounding the parking lot has broken glass everywhere. The path itself is still scenic but the lock needs a lot of TLC."
