"Walked around the historic district at night. Was a very cool experience. Lots of history, monuments, and old gas lamps that light up a few of the historical markers and monuments. Go see it in the evening."
"I was returning from Boston and decided to stop and see a friend. She took me to see the houses in Historic Downton. It’s very beautiful and most of the houses have a sign with date. I think the oldest was 1810 or could have been earlier. Trees line the sidewalk and the houses still had Halloween decorations. I highly recommend visiting because there is so much history and the houses are maintained very well."
