"I had two sections of my gutter updated by JR Richardson. The first section went well, but the second section did not go as smoothly. Water flowed off the roof in a way that went to the side of the gutter, just off the edge of it. I asked him to look at it and he claimed the problem was with the roof. I asked him if there was something he could do to compensate, installing gutter diverters or something like that. He said he would look at it, but never contacted me to discuss any conclusions he may have made from looking at it. I called and left messages with his messaging service at least 3 times, but never received a call back. It looks like I will have to pay another company to finish the job that he did not, which bothers me. As a response to the owner, my request was to meet with him to discuss what could be done; I simply had the idea for a deflector. He agreed to meet with me, but then never returned a call to schedule a time. That irritated me. However, the owner's response says the porch overhang was way out of level. If that was the case, which implies the gutters his company installed would not work, why install them in the first place? If a business chooses to install something that may not work, the customer should be notified before the work is done and the business should be willing to work with the customer to make it work. Mr. Richardson was not willing to do that and did not inform me of any potential problems before the work was started."
