"Don't use this tax service unless local. The online program very difficult to use. I had used my same acct there for years but live a distance away. Since their online services don't work properly, I will find another acct for future years. Very disappointed"

"Would NEVER go here again. Dropped off my taxes. I was told as a new client who opened a new business, that I did not need an appt. Over a week later, Sherri called me three times within 15 minutes with questions. It was the weekend & I was not home so I told her I would get the answers to her Monday. Monday I called & left a voicemail which was never returned. I called back later in the day & was told that not only was Sherri out sick, but that she does not accept appts. She was also out sick on Tuesday when I went in. I had to physically go there because they do not answer the phone. I went in to ask for all my paperwork back to take elsewhere & magically my taxes were done. How could they could possibly be done when Sherri had three questions I had not provided answers for yet? While I was standing there, another lady was flipping through my file & stated that Edward Jones had not faxed them the paperwork they needed yet. But some how my taxes were done? They assured me someone (Justin or Prudence) would review them & make sure everything was in order. This was right before closing Tuesday evening & Wednesday morning they called to say that my taxes were ready. I came to pick them up Thursday, still never being given the face to face appt I had requested, & when I asked again about the missing documentation & the answers Sherri had not yet received, the girl with crooked teeth was very rude & short. She said she didn’t know anything about it & that if they were in her hands, they had been reviewed & everything was correct. Not surprisingly, we owe almost $2000. Do not do business with this place."

"My initial review is below, and I'm keeping it up for historical purposes, and to illustrate how they learned of the problem, then did a wonderful job correcting everything about it, also added a better image illustrating the results. I think they're a great, local business - clearly exceptionally-skilled at what they do, and was really happy to get everything resolved with their help, as I don't want to even run remotely afoul with The IRS on Cryptocurrency, and they did an amazing job trying to ensure I don't. Below is the original review however, and I'm only keeping it here for historical purposes, and to illustrate how well Bethany was able to turn it all around. She makes very complex taxes look like just a cakewalk honestly. Thank you Bethany, and Thank You Community Tax Service!! "I'm honestly shocked by them this past year (2020). They've prepared & filed my taxes these last three years, and was left with the distinct impression an accurate job was done to complete them very swiftly. Apparently that was just an illusory deception they've carefully cultivated however though, as I've received now two separate letters from the IRS regarding past years prepared by Community Tax Service. Moreover, the very first letter was received and communicated to the Community Tax Service representative who prepared the relevant returns months ago now, but they have either been unable or *unwilling* to resolve it, despite explicit assurances they would - both verbal as well as in-writing. This has been completely & absolutely unacceptable, and I'm currently considering civil charges if no resolution persists, and whether they're ultimately going to be needed to actually motivate resolution of this whole ordeal (a real mess now), because both letters received were regarding returns a Community Tax Service representative has prepared, but they have thus far been either unable or unwilling to correct the problems they concern - problems that appear to be mistakes they made. Which was again, communicated to the representative who prepared the returns the letters concern months ago now; I was further given explicit (and documented) assurances more than once - both verbally and in-writing - that they were being taken care of (presumably researched), but it now appears that was apparently never actually the case in reality. Their webpage in the attached screenshot should more accurately read OWE UP TO $6000 TODAY!! (just don't find out for years afterword) Lastly, the seeming complete lack of either desire or willingness to resolve issues arising from returns prepared by them implies intent in this matter from early on.""

"I submitted my information through the website and received a call within 10 minutes. The man was very professional and said he can't help me because the amount was so low, but gave me 2 phone numbers to call, a website to sign up on to view my information, and some tips on what type of installment agreement I should make and a few other things. I am so appreciative for the time he took to advise me on these things so I don't get screwed, as a single mom of 3 with only 1 income and no child support, I need all the help and advise I can get. I guarantee I will be using Community Tax if I ever need to one day. I greatly appreciate you young man."
