"The service has been good, and I really appreciate the professionalism of the tech who services our home. But my annual termite fee rose from $266 to $440 when I was pretty much required to accept the in-ground bait stations instead of chemical treatment, two years ago. At that time, they said the price increase was because they had to inspect the bait stations twice per year instead of only an annual inspection. Now, two years later, they just told me the inspections will only happen annually, per manufacturer's recommendation. But my rate has stayed at $440 annually. Not very happy about that. I feel like I just fell victim to "bait and switch" tactics. And while yes, the pun was intended, it's nonetheless how I feel. I did get a response from Ensec; they posted here. And I absolutely understand that price increases are necessary in this economic environment. Still, a increase in the annual fee from $266 to $440 (69% !!!), after paying $1,860 to make the switch from ground treatment to bait stations, seems like a lot. I am pretty sure I'd be less irritated if they had not justified that increase two years ago as being a result of service twice a year, and now saying it will only be once per year."

"Nice people, but their generic lawn service leaves much to be desired. Ensec "improved" my lawn for 2 years. They came ever 6 weeks and sprayed, added lime each spring (extra charge) and installed grass plugs twice (additional charge). Bottom line, the lawn went from a 5 (on a 10 scale) to a 7 after 2 long years and several thousand dollars invested. Brown patches and bare areas remain (see pics) because they applied a generic treatment to the entire property. They don't seem capable of diagnosing and spot treating problem areas."
