They not only moved them within the 2 hr minimum but also moved furniture from my garage into the house that my children had moved there prior. "My wife and I recently moved from Dyer to Crown Point. I solicited quotes from four different moving companies. Without naming names, the first company came in with a quote of over $10,000.00. Though IMS (Indiana Moving Services) was not the lowest bidder, they were close at $4255.00. I did some online research and found that IMS had mostly positive reviews. Based on price and the positive reviews, we chose IMS. We scheduled the pickup day and time, and they arrived as scheduled. There was a team of five, and they were all very professional in their approach. All furniture was wrapped thoroughly before being packed on the truck. TVs were packed in their own boxes and insulated accordingly. Our home was approximately 2,900 square feet, as well as a basement and 2-1/2 car garage. The move I thought would take a good part of the day, was completed in a little over three hours. As we couldn't get into our new home immediately, we had to have our furniture stored for several days. We had established the day and time the movers were to be at the new house, and again they were there on time. The unloading process went as well as the loading process, again taking about 3.5 hours. As well as the entire move went, it was not without incident. Amongst the over 75 bins and all the furniture, as my wife was unpacking dishes and glassware, she discovered one of her margarita glasses had been broken. For a move this size I find that beyond extraordinary. I cannot say enough good things about IMS. Their prices were reasonable, their service exceptional, and the professionalism of their workers was the best I had ever encountered. "Best experience ever with a moving company. They sent someone to the house to look at everything and give me an estimate. On the day of the move, they had 6 guys and 2 trucks there first thing in the morning. The team of 6 did a great job prepping before they moved anything.
