Barns-Brinton House

The Barns-Brinton House, located at 630 Baltimore Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, is a popular tourist attraction steeped in history. The house was built in 1714 by blacksmith William Barns as a tavern on the major route between Maryland and Philadelphia. After Barns' death, the property was purchased by the Brinton family who owned it for 100 years.
