"Super quick and reliable way to get to Navy pier from the museums. Walking is doable but even though it looks so close, know that it’s another 2 miles. So if you’re a little tired from walking all day in the museums, hop aboard the water taxi instead. It is a little pricey if you have a bunch of people. It was about $18 per person. But it was worth it because my wife’s family was visiting and we live right across the street. Views of the city are, of course, stunning as always. The guy boarding passengers isn’t friendly or helpful and seems bitter about something. And it wasn’t just a thing that day. I walk my dog down there and have seen him several times and he always seems like that."

"Seemed like a pretty cheap chance to see the city and the lake ($10 I think from the aquarium to Michigan Ave). It was a beautiful day and hot enough that it felt really nice to get out on the water. Keep in mind, though this is called a taxi, it is not an efficient way to get around the city (It may however be the quickest way to get from the aquarium to the pier) I waited maybe half an hour for the pier to Michigan boat."
