"Dr Rizos delivered all 3 of my children. Every pregnancy was high risk and he and his staff were amazing through it all. When I had developed severe preeclampsia with my first and the decision was being made to induce right away, talking with him in his office with a waiting room full of people, I told him I had several questions, but I’d just wait til later when he came to the hospital to ask them. He looked at me and said, “No, ask them now. Everyone gets their time.” I was really impressed by the fact that he didn’t rush me along to get caught up. Amazing bedside manner and his staff is just as good."

"He accepted me as a patient when I was 30 weeks pregnant. Belittled me because the hospital I was at previously took so long to release my records. Barely spoke to me, and would mostly talk to the nurses about my baby and the pregnancy. Most of the progress I knew about was from listening to what he was telling them. When I asked questions during the appointments, he would interrupt me, and would answer them as if I should have known the answer already. He didn’t take anything I had to say very seriously. I advise you to look for another obgyn, especially if you’re a young or first time mom. He wasn’t the one who ended up delivering my baby, but the doctor who did is who I wish I had seen during my last few weeks of pregnancy."

"Moved to Indiana at 32 weeks pregnant. This doctor accepted me as a patient. Saw him twice, office staff pushed out my appointments several times, and since 35 weeks, I have not been seen. I am now 37 weeks. My baby is breech and he did not schedule a c section. (Which I learned is protocol by 36 weeks for breech baby) ECV, but apparently, that's not going to happen for me. I decided to change doctors after my appointment was pushed out two weeks with not even a consideration, or a visit for my blood pressure, general vitals, weight and urine check. They just pushed me away. Called requesting medical records and they told me, "that'll be a 30 day process" I was a registered nurse, and I'm VERY AWARE of HIPPA laws. They are using stalling tactics to keep patients, at best. I understand the doctor may have had a family situation and that is unfortunate. All of the other lies, and negligence from the staff and scheduling crew are totally unacceptable. Reported the office to the Board and also my insurance group."

"Not respectful of mothers rights or choices. Told me a birth plan was garbage and would lead to a c-section and delayed cord clamping takes blood away from the baby. After he belittled me during an appointment, I made a consult appointment with a midwife. I was dehydrated and having signs of preterm labor before the consult happened. He was still my doctor at that point, so his office staff wanted me to come into his office. He refused to see me until my consult was cancelled and then proceeded to badmouth the local midwives."
