"One of the most beautiful college campuses in the US--arguably the most beautiful in my opinion. Part of its beauty is due to its location along a linear park (the "Midway Plaisance") dating back to the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. But it also has a fabulous architectural assemblage including classic collegiate gothic as well as many more contemporary buildings. Their landscaping budget must be enormous--beautiful, well-maintained plantings everywhere. Make sure to see the Law School, the Rockefeller Chapel and the Robie House (Frank Lloyd Wright house next to the Booth Business school). Well worth a visit even if you don't have a child looking at colleges."
