"If you're expecting more than a concrete walk along a river prepare to be disappointed. We thought there were stores or restaurants along the way. We walked about half a mile to a business complex that it said was the Riverwalk district. We needed ID to get in that building though? We then kept walking until we came to a brewery and then gave up. Maybe it's seasonal and January is an off month? Maybe things were closed for the Tuesday after New Year's Day? We just walked through parking lots, office parks, and apartment complexes. There were signs for things but nothing was there."

"One of my all time favorite things to do in Milwaukee. It's also made even better if you happen to be staying in the Third Ward area (which we were). Lots of public art (all excellent for social media), beautiful greenery along the river, watching the various bridges opening up to allow ships to go through, and checking out the Public Market all make this area wonderful (esp. on a sunny day)."

"It was really beautiful. Half the river walk was just housing - apartments and condos. The other half was more interesting. There were beer gardens and breweries and parks. Just off the river are lots of restaurants and bars. The area is really clean and well maintained. The entire walk is paved. Some stairs. They are in the middle of fixing the elevators so some spots are inaccessible if you’re in a wheelchair."

"Lots of accessible parking that is pretty reasonable. Beautiful and scenic place to walk to enjoy the pelicans and views of boating. The bronze Fonz is pretty cool and a great place for a family photo. Lots of restaurants on and nearby. Definitely worth visiting, because it's not like you probably have a riverwalk at home."
