"Great administration small and focused"
"The teachers seem okay so far, but there is a terrible issue for those whose children are snack leaders in the lower grades. The school whines about wanting to eliminate sugary foods as options, yet right there on the list of "approved" and "permissible" snacks are low-fat granola bars, cereal bars, dried fruit (which often has added sugar), pudding cups and pops, frozen sherbet, ice cream treats, Teddy Grams, gingersnap cookies, low-fat cookies, low-fat brownies, low-fat muffins, and let's not even get into the high-sodium ridiculousness that is currently "approved" - pizza, for crying out loud! Seriously! I know for a fact the cafeteria still offers ice cream treats as well. This is an insult to reason. If they are going to promote healthy food choices, it should be a rigorous and wholehearted adherence, none of this half-cocked cattle feces pretending low-fat paired with high-sugar is any better. Fat content hardly seems to be a problem in school lunches except what is brought from home."
